Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing The Travelling Tiramisu. These Terms and Conditions outline how we work together to make your event a success. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

The Travelling Tiramisu provides premium mobile tiramisu experiences for events across Victoria. We specialise in live cart service, coupe towers, large slabs, and brand activations for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and brand activations.

All our tiramisu is handcrafted from scratch using real ingredients and family-inspired recipes.

Quotes and Bookings

Quotes

All quotes are provided based on the information you give us about your event. Quotes are valid for 30 days and may be adjusted if your guest numbers or requirements change.

Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed once we receive your 25% deposit and send you a booking confirmation. This secures your date and locks in your package.

Minimum Requirements

  • Cart Experience, Intimate: 60, 70 guests
  • Cart Experience, Signature: 70, 100 guests
  • Coupe Tower & Slabs: Available for all event sizes
  • Brand Activation: POA (enquire for details)

Pricing and Payment

Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars and exclude GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on confirmed guest numbers and selected packages.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking and secure your date.

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event. We'll confirm the exact amount and payment details in your booking confirmation.

Changes to Guest Numbers

Please provide final guest numbers at least two weeks before your event. You will be charged based on the confirmed number or actual guests served, whichever is higher.

Add-Ons

Additional trays, extra service hours, and personalised messages must be confirmed and paid for prior to your event.

Packages and Menu

Package Selection

Choose your package, Cart Experience (Intimate or Signature), Coupe Tower, Large Slab, or Brand Activation. Package details and inclusions are outlined on our Menu page.

Flavour Selection

Choose your flavours from our signature range: Classic, Pistachio, Limoncello, Biscoff, Bueno, and Baci. Flavour selections must be confirmed at least two weeks before your event.

Custom Orders

Custom flavour development and bespoke orders are available on request. Additional lead time and charges may apply.

Dietary Requirements

We offer vegan and gluten-free options. Please advise of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking.

Allergen Information

While we take care to accommodate dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee our products are completely free from all allergens due to our preparation methods. Please inform your guests of any potential allergen risks.

Travel and Service Area

Travel Fees

The Travelling Tiramisu is based in Craigieburn and services events Victoria-wide. Travel fees apply and will be quoted and confirmed prior to booking.

Service Window

Standard service includes a 1-hour live serve. Additional hours are available and must be booked in advance.

Venue Access

Please ensure we have appropriate access to your venue, including parking and sufficient space for our cart setup. Our Tira-Server requires adequate time before your event to set up.

Coupe Tower, Bond and Return

Refundable Bond

A refundable bond applies to all Coupe Tower bookings to cover the return of coupes. The bond amount will be confirmed in your quote.

Coupe Return

Coupes must be returned clean and undamaged within the agreed timeframe. Bond will be refunded upon satisfactory return.

Damaged or Unreturned Coupes

Damaged or unreturned coupes will be deducted from the bond. Additional charges may apply for significant damage or loss.

Cancellations and Changes

By You

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. The following applies:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before your event: deposit forfeited, no further charges
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of your event: 50% of total booking value is payable
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of your event: 100% of total booking value is payable

By Us

In rare cases of unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, illness, equipment failure), we reserve the right to cancel. If this happens, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund.

Date or Venue Changes

Changes to your event date or venue should be requested in writing as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes subject to availability. A date change fee may apply.

Brand Activations

Custom Agreements

Brand Activation bookings are subject to a separate agreement outlining specific requirements, inclusions, timelines, and deliverables. All brand activation enquiries are priced on application.

Partner Products

Where partner products are incorporated into recipes for brand activations, product supply, timing, and usage must be agreed in writing prior to the event.

Content and Social Media

Social-ready content captured at brand activations may be used by The Travelling Tiramisu for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Our Responsibilities

We will:

  • Arrive at your venue with adequate setup time
  • Provide all equipment, serving ware, and supplies as outlined in your package
  • Prepare all tiramisu fresh on-site or as agreed
  • Provide warm, professional service throughout your event
  • Serve your guests with care and attention
  • Clean up our service areas and remove all equipment after pack-down

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate event information (date, time, location, guest count)
  • Ensuring venue access and adequate space for setup
  • Confirming flavour selections and dietary requirements in advance
  • Paying according to agreed terms
  • Informing your guests of potential allergen risks
  • Ensuring safe and appropriate conditions for our Tira-Server team

Liability

Our Service

We take pride in delivering a premium, reliable experience. However, we are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control including extreme weather, venue issues, or events caused by third parties.

Food Safety

We maintain high food safety standards and follow all relevant health regulations. Once our service concludes, we are not responsible for food storage or handling by others.

Property

We are not responsible for damage to venue property caused by guests or circumstances outside our control.

Photography and Promotion

We may photograph or film your event for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer we do not use images from your event, please advise us in writing before your event date.

Feedback and Complaints

We value your feedback. If you have any concerns about our service, please contact us within seven days of your event. We will respond promptly and work to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Australian Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
